Purrfect Stickers turns your cat photos into AI-generated stickers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your privacy.
What We Collect
Cat Photos
When you upload a photo of your cat, it is sent to our cloud storage and to an AI generation service to create your stickers. Photos are encrypted at rest and are deleted immediately if you delete your account.
Generated Stickers
AI-generated sticker images are stored in cloud storage linked to your account. They are encrypted at rest and deleted immediately on account deletion.
Cat Traits
Our AI extracts visual descriptions of your cat (colour, fur type, breed hints) to maintain consistency across sticker styles. This data is stored in our database, encrypted at rest, and deleted immediately on account deletion.
Account Data
If you create an account, we store your email address (if signed in via Apple or Google), authentication tokens, and subscription status. Creating an account is optional — the app works as a guest.
Usage Analytics
We may collect anonymous usage events (screens viewed, features used) to improve the app experience. Analytics are not linked to your personal identity and are retained in anonymised form up to 90 days after account deletion.
Subscription Data
Subscription status (not payment details) is managed through RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card or payment information.
We never access photos other than those you explicitly upload. We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or browsing history without your action.

Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication, cloud storage, and serverless functions. Data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- AI Generation API (fal.ai) — cat photos are sent for sticker generation only. Photos are not retained after generation completes.
- OpenAI (GPT-4o Vision) — cat trait extraction and photo validation. Photos are not retained after processing.
- RevenueCat — subscription management. Anonymous user ID and subscription status only.
- PostHog — anonymous usage analytics.
- Apple App Store — subscription payments and billing.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, secure API key management, and row-level security policies. In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours.
Data Retention
- Cat photos and generated stickers: deleted immediately on account deletion
- Cat traits: deleted immediately on account deletion
- Account data: retained until you delete your account
- Analytics data: anonymised, retained up to 90 days after deletion
- Generation job records: retained up to 1 year for cost tracking
Children's Privacy
Purrfect Stickers is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at support@purrfectstickers.com if you believe a child has provided us with personal data.
Your Rights
All Users
- Delete your stickers and cat profiles at any time from within the app
- Delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen
- Use the app without creating an account (guest mode)
European Economic Area (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, you have additional rights including: the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and the right to object. Contact us at support@purrfectstickers.com and we will respond within 30 days.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your data. Contact support@purrfectstickers.com to submit a request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email.
